We welcome your application for your son to join Highbury. Highbury is a non-profit organisation and all fee revenue is invested in your son’s education.
Complete your application form, send through required documents and pay the application fee. Once you are on our database, we will be able to stay in touch with you via termly newsletters and other relevant communications, so you will already start to feel part of the Highbury family. Date of application is one of the criteria on our Acceptance Tiers so it is an advantage to apply early. Applications are rolled over each year until your son is old enough to join us, so there is no need to reapply.
Your son will need to come for an assessment so that our teachers can get to know him and understand where he is at on his learning journey. This is vital to ensure that we match your son with the best teacher for him and place him in a well-balanced class. Assessments will take place the year prior to entry. Our Grade R Assessment Morning is held in May and is a fun morning full of activities like climbing the jungle gyms, building puzzles and drawing. Our Grade 1 – 7 Assessment Morning is held in July with age-appropriate ‘tests’ that we aim to make as unpressurised as possible. In a few cases, we discover at the assessment that Highbury cannot meet the needs of a boy, and then the reasons are explained to the parents involved. In the vast majority of cases, the assessment is followed by a letter of Acceptance.
You will receive an acceptance letter for your son to join Highbury. A once-off acceptance fee will need to be paid and final documents will need to be signed and submitted. Once you have paid your acceptance fee, your son’s place at Highbury is secure.

Investing in your son’s education is a choice that will set him up with the best start in life. Highbury is a non-profit organisation and all fee revenue is invested into delivering the best possible education for your son. Highbury tuition fees are a direct result of:
Our large, experienced group of outstanding teachers. Teacher salaries are by far Highbury’s biggest cost but we believe that investing in the best teachers and delivering a low learner-teacher ratio (currently 12:1), together with having access to a wide range of specialist teachers, are all important choices in delivering educational excellence.
Delivering the widest range of experiences and opportunities for Highbury boys, in sports, cultural activities and many other experiences beyond the classroom throughout the year.
Maintaining and improving our beautiful 11 hectare estate, with excellent facilities and natural spaces for our boys to enjoy.
Delivering exceptional outcomes, as seen by the number of Highbury boys who go on to excel at their high schools and colleges of choice, both locally and internationally.
