The Highbury Parents’ Association is primarily responsible for bringing parents and families together and growing the wonderful community we have here at Highbury. We do this through hosting events during the year that raise money that is directly injected back into the development of the school. These include:
The Golf Day in March is a very well supported, social event that is a favourite day of the year for many Highbury dads!
Spirit Day is a Saturday in April or May when the whole school is encouraged to watch and support our home game sport. With braais, music and coffee, it is a lovely morning of building school spirit.
Fun Day is a Saturday in June when the entire school comes together to create a carnival day on our beautiful estate. The morning begins with a family Fun Run and then everyone mingles over food, rides and games.
The Year-End Party is renowned as one of the best parties in the Upper Highway! The Centenary Hall is transformed into a glamorous themed venue and a three-course dinner followed by music and dancing makes for a memorable and fun way to celebrate together.
