Donations
An education is the best gift you can give. Your donation to the Highbury Education Trust can make all the difference in the life of a young boy.
The Highbury Education Trust was created in 1995 for the purpose of “procuring funds for the benefit of the School and for securing a long term capital base for the School which will enable it, inter alia, to make education at Highbury School more affordable.”
The Highbury Education Trust is controlled by a Deed of Trust and is managed by a group of appointed Trustees.

Primary school lays the foundations for success, yet many talented boys are excluded from a quality education due to financial constraints. Through our Bursary Programme, Highbury is committed to opening doors for bright, talented, hardworking boys who would otherwise never have access to the opportunities our school provides. These bursaries have the power to transform the lives of these boys by raising their aspirations, creating possibilities, and shaping brighter futures.
Donate NowAs the oldest primary school in the Upper Highway area, we are privileged to have a beautiful 11-hectare campus that deserves to be preserved for future generations. Schools such as ours rely on the generosity of our community and past pupils to uphold the high standards set over the years. To maintain our historic buildings and enhance our facilities, we have exciting plans for upgrades that will ensure Highbury remains a world-class institution.
Capital projects that require funding:
Tennis Courts
Tennis continues to thrive at Highbury, with boys eagerly heading to the courts for early morning games before lessons begin. As the sport’s popularity continues to grow, our teams have achieved outstanding results in local leagues and national tournaments. To support this momentum, our courts now require refurbishment.
Library
Highbury has always been a school that champions reading, fostering a love for literature and strong comprehension skills. In an age where artificial intelligence and misinformation are increasingly prevalent, developing critical thinking through reading is more important than ever. Our library, the heart of learning at Highbury, needs refurbishment to create a modern and engaging space for our boys. We have exciting plans to enhance this vital resource and invite our community to contribute to this important project. Your support will help us nurture informed, analytical thinkers who will make a meaningful impact on the world.
As part of our commitment to preserving the Highbury tradition, we invite you to consider leaving a bequest to the school in your will. By including Highbury in your estate plans, you can help ensure that future generations of boys benefit from the same values, education, and lifelong friendships that have shaped so many before them. Your legacy will live on, making a difference for years to come. For more information on how to include Highbury in your will, please contact us at alumni@highbury.co.za. Thank you for your continued support.
